Rising Anxiety: Who Wants That?

Updated: Oct 25, 2025

“Don’t let that bother you—it’s nothing anyway.”

If you’ve ever heard that phrase while feeling anxious, you probably know how invalidating it can feel. Maybe it’s “nothing” to someone else, but to you, it’s something. That’s why it’s causing anxiety in the first place.

When we’re overwhelmed, we don’t need someone to minimize our feelings. We need someone who understands. Someone who listens without judgment and helps us make sense of what’s going on inside.

I’ve been there too; stuck in my own thoughts, wishing someone would just get it. Anxiety can feel isolating, especially when others don’t see what you’re going through. But you don’t have to figure it out alone.

As a therapist, my goal is to help you find stability in the anxiety and uncertainty. Together, we’ll work on coping skills, new ways of thinking, and strategies that make it easier to manage anxiety and navigate life’s ups and downs. It’s not an overnight fix, it’s a process, but it’s an investment in yourself and your peace of mind.

If you’re ready to take that first step toward a calmer, more grounded life, We'd be honored to help. You can call or text me at (708) 295-3502, or reach out through www.andersonclinical.net to schedule an appointment.

I accept insurance and self-pay options, and I truly believe therapy is one of the best investments you can make for your happiness, stability, and future.
